Is RYZE Mushroom Coffee Good? Our 2026 Review After 30 Days
In one line
RYZE mushroom coffee is the safest first mushroom coffee: smooth, cheap per cup at $1.20, organic and easy to find at Target, with 48 mg caffeine. But it discloses only a 2,000 mg six-mushroom blend total, with no per-mushroom doses, so you can't tell how much lion's mane you're actually getting, and we found no published COA.

What's on the label vs. what the research used
| Mushroom | Label dose / serving | Part used | Dose in named human studies |
|---|---|---|---|

| Cordyceps | part of 2,000 mg blend | undisclosed | 1,000–4,000 mg/day |
| Reishi | part of 2,000 mg blend | undisclosed | 1,400–5,400 mg/day of extract |
| Turkey Tail | part of 2,000 mg blend | undisclosed | ~3,000 mg/day of PSK extract |
| Shiitake | part of 2,000 mg blend | undisclosed | 5–10 g/day dried mushroom (dietary study) |
| King Trumpet | part of 2,000 mg blend | undisclosed | No human dosing trials |
Taste
RYZE is the blend we'd hand to someone who has never tried mushroom coffee. The MCT oil and coconut milk powder round it into something like a light latte; there is none of the bitter, woody note that reishi-heavy blends carry. It dissolves cleanly in hot water and holds up iced.
Price and value
$36 for 30 servings is $1.20 a cup at the one-time price — cheaper than most competitors and under $1.00 on subscription bundles. For an organic six-mushroom blend that is genuinely good value, which is why RYZE anchors our budget ranking.
Transparency: the weak point
The label lists six mushrooms and a 2,000 mg total. It does not say how much of each, whether they are fruiting body or mycelium, or what the beta-glucan content is. Spread evenly, 2 g across six species is about 330 mg each — roughly 10% of the lion's mane dose used in the best-known cognition trial. RYZE may well be front-loading lion's mane; it just doesn't tell you.
Verdict
Best first mushroom coffee and the best budget pick. Not the one to choose if you care about a specific mushroom dose.
